Our “Where’s My Bag?” series highlights Clark & Mayfield handbags in interesting locations around the world. This is a guest post by Michelle C. of IntentionalTravelers.com. Michelle and her husband are "digital nomads," running their business online as they travel. Michelle visited Sisters, Oregon with the Clark & Mayfield Reed laptop handbag in slate gray.

Sisters, Central Oregon

The small town of Sisters, named after the Three Sisters mountain peaks nearby, is not far from Bend and Redmond in Central Oregon. Artist workshops, hearty old-fashioned diners, ice cream shops, and souvenir vendors in the town center remind visitors of the Old West.

In Sisters, country living meets outdoor adventure. Tourists and residents alike love to take advantage of the crisp blue sky days to explore the outdoors amidst fir trees and sage brush. Mountain biking trails weave around the town for miles while ski lifts, ATV routes, river rafting spots, horse stables, and hiking trails are never far away.

June through September, stop by Fir Street Park on Friday afternoons for the local farmer's market where you can enjoy the area's produce, crafts, and live music. Also, be sure to visit Sister's Coffee Company's original cafe and roastery on Hood Avenue, featuring a small menu from local farms and bakeries.
